Shown above is a single panel from the multi-panel mural, The
Gatherings (Early 1900s), painted on the side of Memorial
Composite High School. This panel shows Bill and Bertha Barth (née
Kulak) on their wedding day in 1925. The Barths came from Plumas,
Manitoba, and settled in Stony Plain in 1908, when Bill was still
a boy. Bill founded a car dealership, and was active in local
government, and both were active in community organizations.
