Goods in Kind
by Windi Scott, Stony Plain
(10.3 m2)
As was common in Stony Plain's early days, businessmen such
as lawyer F.W. Lundy were often paid for their services with
goods instead of cash. Lundy also served as the town's first
secretary-treasurer from 1909-29 and as MLA from 1917-21.
