Jazz City - International Jazz Festival

The Works Visual Arts Festival

The Works will bring together Canadian artists and artisans with international exhibits in building foyers, downtown parks, and art galleries. River City Shakespeare Festival

Since 1989, Edmonton's Free Will Players have staged the annual River City Shakespeare Festival from late June to mid-July. The festival includes full-scale professional productions of two plays by William Shakespeare, as well as Camp Shakespeare, a summer drama camp for youth ages 8-16. All festival activities take place in the 1,000 Heritage Amphitheatre in Edmonton's beautiful Hawrelak Park.

Giovanni Caboto Day Festival

This popular "Be Italian For The Day" festival returns! Festivities include folkloric and musical performances, an Italian car exhibit, arts and crafts displays and Italian cuisine. Location: Giovanni Caboto Park (94-95 St. and 107-109 Ave.).

Edmonton Heritage Festival

The Edmonton Heritage Festival is a three-day celebration of Canada's diverse cultural mosaic. It is held during the Heritage Day long weekend in August. Outdoor ethnic pavilions feature non-stop international singing and dancing, arts and crafts displays, costumes and samples of wonderful international cuisine. Edmonton Folk Music Festival

The annual Edmonton Folk Music Festival is a four-day celebration of blues, Celtic, singer-songwriters, bluegrass, gospel and world music.
